Linea 77 is one of those Italian rock bands that is gaining appreciation and recognition abroad. T.M.H.M.K.P. is their first album, produced by Milanese Collapse Records, thanks to which they will be signed by Earache Records, experts in extreme metal who work with artists like Deicide and Morbid Angel. The album's sonic tendencies are immediately clear: powerful and aggressive riffs, excellent rhythm section, and Nitto the "fatty's" melodic voice (as someone likes to call him), which contrasts with the aggressive voice of the other singer, Emo. This album, inspired by bands like Korn and Deftones, the godfathers of nu-metal, is most probably the heaviest of the Turin band, which gradually will find its path by lightening the sound and seeking more melodic tones. The most violent song on the entire album is "Touch" (which kicks ass live) although "Meat", the single through which they will create their first video, encapsulates the entire spirit of the album.
However, their debut album, even if not very original, is good, and thanks to this, they manage to win over many fans. Their musical maturation, however, will explode some time later, when Linea releases Ketchup Suicide, which for many represents the band's most beautiful album.
