Lil Peep (Gustav Elijah Åhr) was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who helped popularize emo rap through SoundCloud. He died in 2017 of an accidental overdose while on tour.

Born in 1996 in Pennsylvania and raised on Long Island, New York; member of the collective GothBoiClique; broke through with singles and mixtapes on SoundCloud; debut studio album Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1 released in 2017; died on November 15, 2017, in Tucson, Arizona; posthumous releases include Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 (2018) and the compilation Everybody's Everything (2019).
