THE REVIEW

Escape. Suspension. Semi-darkness.

Buried alive in the heart of a cave, I warm myself by the fire of memories; dark ambient patiently digging into the rock, cave paintings of my past. Dark pools of stagnant loops reflect purplish images of Tangerine Dream from the beyond.

The dull crackle of electronic flames mistreats violins dancing on damp soundscapes. Guttural drones intone heavy sabbaths; molten lava petrifying movements.

Sensory coordinates swallowed by psychedelic vortexes; reddish clots of restless avant-garde solidify like congealed blood. Black abysses where my nightmares writhe and where deformed voices of the damned try to warn me.

To hell with it! I curse Beatrice and spit in Virgil’s face! The fiery eyes of Charon will be my guiding stars in this journey.

Escape. Suspension. Complete darkness.

Mundus Subterraneus is definitely music from the dark and the deep side of the Earth.

It is a journey between anxieties and fears, past and future, nightmare and enchantment.
