I tried to write a couple of serious reviews and immediately lost interest after seeing the reactions, but I won’t comment.

So. To me, marijuana, to me, patience, to me, Port wine, to me, free time: it's time for TRASH!

Today, we’re dealing with a remarkable little film starting from the title: Maniac Nurses, from 1990. Naturally, a Troma production (damn forever anyone who doesn’t know this film company, or at least look it up).

The first important detail is that the plot, as we imagine it, does not exist.

There are some great chicks in skimpy outfits wandering around armed in a clinic (how they got there is a mystery), limiting trips outside to expeditions or to snatch innocent victims (an adjective heavily abused in the film) on whom to conduct terrible experiments (the purpose? To give pleasure to the sadistic nurses) or to hunt and kill some unfortunate camper (always for enjoyment). The owner of the place has a maternal relationship (she creates dolls of flesh and bone for her and allows her to kill the nurse who ruins the said toys) with a girl who reads violent comics (a MASTERPIECE scene where the names of the villains in the story, from Hitler to Mao, through Stalin and Charles Manson, come out from the comic the unsuspecting girl is reading), but her other favorite feels replaced and plots revenge. Thousands of revelations, children with Elvis tattoos, Paris, penitent priests, and listless stripteases. All immersed in a '70s porn atmosphere and complemented by immense splatter scenes.

The end. There’s nothing else to say, except: a due mention for the gardener who, for the first twenty minutes of the film, randomly appears every five minutes exclaiming “maniacs!” or “perverts!” and then dies impaled on one of those garden gnomes he polished with so much love and care from morning to night, and a due mention for the voiceover desperately trying to make sense of the great mess that is this film with phrases like "To paraphrase a great poet, we can say that sexuality has an infinity of faces, the most important of which is certainly violence, and the more disturbed the sexuality, the greater the violence that results" (said while a hottie reads a comic in a bra and panties).

On youtube there's some. WATCH IT
