For this group from Treviso the moment has come…
The moment to take off into a world that seems to have opened its doors wide for them. But all of this is truly deserved. And for those who still don't know them, I hope this piece can be a starting point for a journey through their music. Drums, guitars, bass, keyboard, and vocals, this is the group that takes the stage.
For those who have been following them for a while, since when very few knew them, since when perhaps something was still missing which they now seem to have effectively found, it is truly a pleasure to see how far they have come. The potential to go far was already visible a few years ago: the music was there, the voice too, but they were not yet "complete," perhaps they had not yet found true inspiration.
Now "Luci a terra" (the name of their newly born album) lights the way to what could and probably will be a success. "Luci a terra" that also colors the stage of this evening in Marcon, where L.ego found themselves supporting "Greg Dulli’s and Twilight singer" feat Manuel Agnelli (what a concert guys!!!). But it's not them I want to talk about.
What I am interested in reviewing is their performance that exhilarated me, almost disoriented me, but I want to emphasize, in a positive way. The qualitative leap that I had the pleasure of witnessing was enormous, nothing was left to chance, everything seems studied to the smallest detail, from the singer's voice, to the gestures and the words spoken. Lyrics and music that leave you speechless, they captivate you and convey something special.
Rock, Indie, electronic, a pinch of eclecticism and the show is quite enjoyable while the notes drag you and involve you with a magnetic force. And like their CD, the concert is also a journey beyond the boundaries of the perceivable, a dreamlike journey woven between lights and shadows, a mix of sensations and emotions that become words and sounds each time. It is clear that the work behind it has been considerable, and this is truly delightful to see on stage, as it is delightful to hear and appreciate in a record.
And what I can only do now is recommend everyone to listen to it at least once, whether you like it or not. "Luci a terra" might also dazzle your imagination. An exciting and above all emotional show. I believe, and I sincerely hope, that they can truly go far. Martina
