How many of you recognized her? No one, you say? Come on, don’t be modest... Still nothing... ok, I’ll buy it. Well, the lady on the cover is Sasha Gray. "And who is she?" you ask? Nobody, just a little actress mainly involved in romantic comedies, quite loved by America's well-thinking people (about as much as Darkthrone).
Having closed this digression, having seen the trailer previously, I expected very little from this movie, and "what're the chances" turned out to be even worse.

I must say (for the record) that the production is not as disastrous as other releases on the market, and the actors themselves, including perhaps Sasha Gray, are not too bad, while the movie itself makes no sense... but not in the provocative way of "Mulholland Drive"; not in the ridiculous way of "Scary Movie"; rather it is simply written by someone who had nothing better to do that day...

Returning to the duty of reporting, it’s plausible to give some credit to some humorous ideas (the director sadly repeats the comments of some viewers of his film, who said it seemed "fake," in front of an inflatable doll used as a stand-in for a corpse. In any case, if this isn’t the worst of the worst of modern cinematography it’s very close, and putting something like this on the market is simply theft - although in this sense it must be said that the trailer didn’t really try hard to disguise the appalling banality hidden behind this "Smash cut".

Do I have to explain the plot? It’s about a director who, disappointed by the reception of his films, finds solace in a strip club, meets a stripper whom he decides to make his muse, before and after she dies in a car accident. He will then decide to use parts of the corpse to make his films more realistic... and I'll stop here, partly out of respect for cinema, and partly because after a little more than half an hour I removed this monstrosity from the DVD player, asking myself why I bought it...
