After the live collection BBC SESSION, Led Zeppelin return with another two-CD collection "EARLY DAYS AND LATTER DAYS," with the first released in 1999 and the other in 2000. Both are wonderful albums but with different ideologies; indeed, the first album is much more rock, while the second is much more blues.

With this CD, Led Zeppelin once again confirm themselves as the best, even though they have now disbanded due to the loss of drummer John Bonham. However, they didn't stop. In fact, Jimmy Page and the energetic Robert Plant made one last album together called "WALKING INTO CLARKSDALE." But let's start with the first of the two albums "EARLY DAYS."

"EARLY DAYS" With this rock album, we can hear all of Led Zeppelin's charisma. The beautiful and very funny cover shows the band in space suits in space, with stars and a blood-tearing moon behind them. The album immediately starts with the song good times bad times, a very fun song that is clear from the title, where we can hear a very violent guitar solo by Jimmy Page and the very beautiful riffs of bassist John Paul Jones. With the song babe I’m gonna leave you, made entirely with acoustic guitar, we can hear all the bassist's skill as he provides a perfect bass accompaniment to guitarist Jimmy Page, showcasing all his talent. Then, with the song dazed and confused, made almost entirely of bass and guitar riffs, the sound of singer Robert Plant is very much present. With the song communication breakdown, you can feel this group's charisma with not bad drum arrangements and a very aggressive solo. With whole lotta love, the theme song of the program Top of the Pops, we can appreciate the drummer's skill with mini solos that perfectly accompany Page’s guitar and Robert Plant's voice.

With what is and what should never be, the slowest song on the CD, one can hear all the rhythm and blues arrangement of guitarist Jimmy Page, followed by a breath-taking vocal solo by Robert Plant. With the song immigrant song, we can sense the band's entire rock spirit with fantastic drum and bass riffs and a solo Jimmy Page used to perform at their live concerts. With the song since I've been loving you, we return to the style of rhythm and blues with an excellent guitar arrangement and solo, and a very slow, almost imperceptible drum sound. With the beautiful song black dog, we return to the 70s rock that makes you dream, with excellent bass accompaniment. With the fantastic rock and roll, they create a genre never heard before, as it is a mix of energetic rock and rhythm and blues, with a drum solo that with its sound manages to excite all the fans. With the song the battle of evermore, made with the mandolin, one hears a never-before-seen sound and a harmony between the four never seen before. With the song when the levee breaks, they borrow a lot from a funky style and blues, even though it is the least beautiful of the CD, we must pay special tribute to Robert Plant's unique voice, which manages to adapt to all the fantastic styles they succeed in doing. With the song stairway to heaven that is fitting to close this fantastic CD, with John Paul Jones' very light keyboard sound, Robert Plant's delicate voice, and Page's double-neck guitar, there emerges a song unique in its genre, with a solo that is light yet aggressive at the same time, which is fantastic and indeed was classified as a historic solo, the most beautiful of all time.

Track list 01 GOOD TIMES BAD TIMES 02 BABE I’ M GONNA LEAVE YOU 03 DAZED AND CONFUSED 04 COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN 05 WHOLE LOTTA LOVE 06 WHAT IS AND WHAT SHOULD NEVER BE 07 IMMIGRANT SONG 08 SINCE I' VE BEEN LOVING YOU 09 BLACK DOG 10 ROCK AND ROLL 11 THE BATTLE OF EVERMORE 12 WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS 13 STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN

"Latter days" With the second album of the collection, we can hear all their blues sound, with unique keyboard arrangements by John Paul Jones. Even in this album, the cover is very funny, almost identical since they are twin CDs. But let's quickly look at the album that immediately starts with the song the song remains the same which has a rhythm and sound of both guitar and voice, unique, never before heard in the history of rock with those slow and fast drumming that makes it more unpredictable as a song. With the song no quarter, composed entirely of keyboard and voice, with added guitar and drum riffs that make it a bit of a tearjerker song that excites the audience during live concerts. With the song houses of the holy, one can hear a strong blues sound from both the guitar and the keyboard, giving it a very joyful and exciting rhythm. With the song trampled under foot, we can feel that Robert Plant's voice is much more aggressive, with harmonica nuances and mini guitar and keyboard solos that make it unique; in this song, they echo a bit of the rock and roll style, only creating a very aggressive song. With the song kashmir, they return to the rock and roll style, having great success with a new style never heard before. With the song ten years gone, a song that is slow and fast at the same time, light and aggressive, with a very beautiful solo that conveys the group's charisma never before heard. With achilles last stand, the longest song on the CD, made up of beautiful guitar, drum, and bass riffs and beautiful vocal arrangements, they can be said to return to their early 1969 albums.

With the song nobody's fault but mine, they reach an unseen maturity, reaching a point where they can no longer look back. With harmonica nuances that the singer does beautifully. With all my love, composed entirely of keyboard and drum riffs with a guitar that is almost barely heard, it is fantastic with a magnificent keyboard solo. And closing the CD in beauty with the song in the evening, a beautiful song done entirely by Jimmy Page with electric guitar and John Paul Jones' fantastic keyboards makes for an excellent and unparalleled rhythm.

Track list 01 THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME 02 NO QUARTER 03 HOUSES OF THE HOLY 04 TRAMPLED UNDER FOOT 05 KASHMIR 06 TEN YEARS GONE 07 ACHILLES LAST STAND 08 NOBODY'S FAULT BUT MINE 09 ALL MY LOVE 10 IN THE EVENING

CONCLUSION: I CAN SAY THAT THIS BEST-OF COLLECTION FROM LED ZEPPELIN IS ONE OF THE VERY BEST WITH VERY MATURE AND PASSIONATE SONGS THAT NOT ONLY APPEAL TO AN OLDER GENERATION AUDIENCE BUT ALSO TO A NEW GENERATION, AND ONCE AGAIN, THE SCOTTISH QUARTET MAKES WAVES.
