Recorded at the Teatro Brancaccio in Rome on January 16 and 17, 1974, this is the concluding concert of a long two-month tour. As already mentioned, the recordings were made on two different days and thus during two different performances, which is why the album features the best from these. Needless to say, all the tracks contained in this live record, already released in previous albums, have a different arrangement and consequently an extended duration.

It begins with two unreleased tracks "Truck Of Fire Part. 1" and "Truck Of Fire Part. 2". Of these two compositions, only the live version exists, never recorded in studio... precisely unreleased. The first part is one of the longest compositions on the album, if not in the entire discography of the group (the duration is 17'30''). Another feature of this track is Michi Dei Rossi's use of the "Drum Controller," already used by Carl Palmer in E.L.&P. The second part, in addition to continuing from the previous, offers an English lyric written and sung by Aldo Tagliapietra... "Was the dreaming and not the hunger...".
Next is "Sguardo Verso Il Cielo" here performed in an "acrobatic" way by Pagliuca who provides an excellent reinterpretation with the keyboards. "Preludio A Era Inverno" as the title itself indicates, is the composition that precedes the already celebrated "Era Inverno". The entire track is guided by keyboards loaded with truly unsettling, spine-chilling notes. After a sound similar to an ambulance siren given by Pagliuca's keyboards, barely "muffled" guitar notes are heard... the audience applauds and Aldo intones: "Every night you prepare yourself always beautiful, smiling, an actress who doesn't change scene..." The arrangement is almost completely different from the studio version, and its duration is extended by a couple of minutes; the celebrated keyboard phrasing is entirely different. "Ritorno Al Nulla" maintains the same "Arab" form as in "Felona e Sorona", with a few more invasions by the keyboards. "Collage (sigla)" is merely a small "fragment" lasting one minute of the eponymous composition in studio version, covered by the audience's murmur. And finally, "Collage", live and complete.

Why listen to this album: for its historical importance (it is the only live album by Le Orme belonging to the official discography), and for those who attended the concert and want to be carried away by the memories of a great band that still today has a great activity and stage presence in its concerts.

Ogni notte ti prepari
Sempre bella sorridente
Un' attrice che non cambia scena.
La tristezza della luna
Nella mani della gente
Che possiede la tua finta gioia.
Senza dirmi una parola
Sei fuggita all'improvviso
Hai capito forse che ti amo?
Vorrei dirti non importa
Il pensiero della gente
E che ho in mente quella sera
Era inverno e tu tremavi,
Sulla neve risplendevi
Dissi "e' la prima volta"
Mi stringevi forte, forte...
Ed un caldo, caldo, caldo...
Dissi "e' la prima volta"
Dissi "e' la prima volta"
Diecimila, ventimila
Sempre bella sorridente,
Un' attrice che non cambia scena.
Diecimila, ventimila,
Nelle mani del cliente
Che possiede la tua finta gioia.

It’s the first complete live of Italian rock, preceded only by the snippets of concerts contained in New Trolls’ ‘Searching For A Land’.

The repertoire is excellent and thrilling, and the performance inspired and spontaneous, with all the sonic penalization.
