Italian progressive rock group from Genoa, originally active in the 1970s (notable for Passio Secundum Mattheum, 1972), reformed in 2008 and later released Paganini Experience under the LatteMiele 2.0 lineup.

Founding members Giancarlo Dellacasa and Alfio Vitanza are not part of the LatteMiele 2.0 lineup. The LatteMiele 2.0 project features Massimo Gori (bass, guitar, vocals) and Luciano Poltini (keyboards), with Elena Aiello on violin and Marco Biggi on drums. The Paganini Experience album includes guest Aldo De Scalzi and cover art by Gino Andrea Carosini and Marco "Mostro" Mastroianni. The band has explicit references to Emerson, Lake & Palmer and other symphonic prog touchstones in the album's arrangements.

A review of LatteMiele 2.0's Paganini Experience describes it as a symphonic/prog concept album dedicated to Niccolò Paganini. The reviewer notes clear ELP influences, prominent violin work by Elena Aiello, and a mix of highlights (Danza di luce) and more pop-sounding moments. Overall rating in the review: 3/5; the album is recommended despite some reservations.

For:Fans of 1970s Italian progressive rock, symphonic prog, violin-led rock and concept albums.

"The Genoese band Latte e Miele is an Italian prog group from the '70s, known for their \"Passio Secundum Mattheum\" of 1972, a classic attempt to combine Gospel texts with Bach's music."
