THE REVIEW

A nocturnal metropolis shrouded in a veil of mist, a very light rain, neon lights reflected on the damp asphalt, few fleeting shapes, the silences, the sounds of the city.

The nocturnal ghosts evoked by David Lynch's frames.

The world suspended in darkness evoked by Bark Psychosis in "Hex," Crescent in "By The Roads And The Fields," not far from Talk Talk.

Night and neon lights. Black cover and white writings.

2012. LAND "Night Within." Two English producers, Iceland, David Sylvian, Daniel O'Sullivan, Alexander Tucker, bass, electronic drums, brass, piano, distorted guitars. The game is on.

David Sylvian's voice illuminates and introduces the world of LAND. A world that breathes in the night, expanded, slowed down as if bogged down in darkness. A world where rock, the slow electricity of guitars dialogue with jazz, with ambient, with shoegaze.

If you want, call it Post Rock.
