LA RECENSIONE

sorry that it took so long, but we are on tour. but here are the answers.
best regards,
valerie

1) Where are you right now and how are you doing?
VT: we're on tour. we play in Brescia tonight and we're fine, a little bit tired because we came from Sicily where we played yesterday.

2) What does Lali Puna mean? It sounds delicate and smooth, like your music.
VT: lali puna means sort of "lali from puna". lali is a nickname (my family still calls me that way) and puna refers to a city in South Korea (Pusan).

3) Your approach to music is pretty minimalistic. How do you start writing a song?
VT: that depends. normally we start out with a sample or a drum rhythm. but i also write lyrics before the music exists. it really depends.

4) What is the song Nin-Com-Pop about? Love and loss?
VT: not really. it's about a girl which grows up and all is "candy cream, neatly smooth and clean forever". and then she learns that it doesn't work like that. and if that would be a next question: the girl isn't me.

5) Any chance seeing you in Italy the next months?
VT: oh, today is our last concert in italy...
