American hard rock / glam metal band formed in Los Angeles in the early 1980s, associated with late-80s street-rock and the hit "The Ballad Of Jayne."

Formed in Los Angeles in the early 1980s; founding member Tracii Guns. Best-known period: late 1980s/early 1990s with the self-titled debut (1988) and Cocked & Loaded (1989) featuring the single "The Ballad Of Jayne." The band has had numerous lineup changes and disputes over the years.
