LA RECENSIONE

A CD dating back to 2002, yet always wonderful... The debut work of La Nuit Mystique, an Italian duo that will soon return to be heard with a new album. Their dream is to tell "the myth," "the human being," running through their fingers the changing of time, showing us the different faces of the "self." They themselves write: "In the mystical night of time, the song of the muse who guided her children in the eternal journey of consciousness and dream is lost." I would define them as the Italian Sopor Aeternus par excellence, due to their dark, yet at the same time dreamlike atmospheres. To conclude, the masks, behind which the duo hides their faces... To indicate their presence/absence, their materiality, but also their elusiveness. They are the ghosts of Italian gothic, the exaltation of poetry in its purest form, the enhancement of our cultural heritage. A great group, great works of art.
