Three clues make a proof, so three groups singing in Spanish and doing psychedelic stoner form a subgenre. Therefore, the album by the three Peruvian guys completes this convoluted and pleasant (at least for me) trilogy. The trilogy of Spanish Psychedelic Stoner!
Miguelangel (vocals and guitar), Ali (bass), and Tito (drums) in this album offer the aforementioned Spanish psychedelic stoner, a mix of sounds coming from the most scattered desert, a unique land with a wind that brings out all your spirituality, a voice that sometimes sings and sometimes narrates, warm and deep, halfway between that of a Dìos (but not as irritated as in the name) and that of Sam Elliot in his portrayal of the stranger in a well-known film. Imagine Arabic dance music played by three big show-offs in a Coffee Shop, relaxing, occasionally a classic riff to keep you from dozing off, always aiming to be a bit cliché and wanting to be a part of the stoner scene (a positive note). All of this requires careful organization of the goofing off, as to fully appreciate "Al Viento," you need 17 (non-productive) minutes, and for "Cordillera," you need 24. A sultry harmony, a passionate sweat, an enzyme of the buzz, not quite the wrath of the Lord but maybe the aftermath of the Lord's tequila drinking. The powerful meditation from tea with marijuana and many other things better left unsaid.
To conclude...
Cheerfully recommended, and remember... Spanish Psychedelic Stoner!
