After a series of collaborations of fluctuating quality, eleven years after "Secasaga", Seka Sec and Dj Cue resurface from the underground. The coordinates of this new work stick to classic hip hop, but compared to previous works, the production is of superior quality and the voice stands out more on the beats, making Seka's lyrical acrobatics easier to follow. The cover, however, is very raw, depicting graffiti with the curious name of the album.

Seka constructs the verses primarily following a phonetic research, often building phrases that are puzzling and of dubious sense, if not devoid of it. The lyrics create a chiaroscuro tapestry from which meanings emerge in backlight and in which others remain submerged. Rhymes, alliterations, and rhetorical figures chase each other in curious images, albeit on a generally gloomy tone.

Words like rivers in the woods for lights I find my place
I cultivate gather mushrooms I marvel at the child born on the paper
When I take the paper I always consult orangutan in my head
Accountant for the mezcla to whom I ask exit

The beats are well-made and rich in samples. Noteworthy is a sampled dialogue from "La meglio gioventù" and the sensational re-proposition of "Arti marziali", already published in the 90s on a Fritz Da Cat beat.
As weaknesses, one might point out the banality of the subjects covered, like self-celebration and a fairly standard social critique, and some excesses of eccentricity in the texts that sometimes make you raise an eyebrow. These are therefore tied to the particular style of L300, which subordinates sense to sound.

I believe it is important to draw attention to honest and personal works like this, which carry forward the discourse of Italian hip hop, albeit within the canons, without being influenced by easy listening temptations and deepening the work on the lyrics. Valorization of the word.
