I take advantage of the invitation I just received to write a new review, and I immediately present to you one of my Christmas gifts (thanks, Chicca).
The CD in question, if in my first and previous review I talked about the Queen of Latin Pop, this time I'm talking about the "Princess of Pop," namely the little Australian who became famous in "Neighbours," known as Miss Kylie Minogue, but who in this album prefers to be simply called Kylie, since by now the whole world knows her just by her "prénom," as the French say.
"Ultimate" means "final" and represents the almost decade-long history of this little sprite: starting from the hit that made her famous in the eighties, I Should Be So Lucky (written by Simon Fuller), moving through significant songs like Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi, going through Put Yourself In My Place and reaching Celebration and Breathe. I chose the less known songs, but in my opinion, they are more beautiful because they best recount the life of the little Australian, as I like to call her.
For new fans, I add that there is, of course, also Can't Get You Out Of My Head, the one with the video in the white dress and silk hood. And to conclude: more than just a record, an emotional investment. Unmissable.
