"Stop me from falling" is the second single from the highly anticipated fourteenth studio album by Kylie Minogue, "Golden," set to be released in April 2018. After the success of the fabulous comeback "Dancing," following a long four-year wait since her last project, here is Kylie again in a country version with a song that's less danceable but very sensual and charismatic at the same time.
This new material with her new record label BMG is truly a new path.... over three decades from 1987 to today, we have seen various facets of this global pop queen: pop Kylie, dance Kylie, disco Kylie, indie Kylie, sex Kylie, a country-pop image was truly missing; an album inspired by the great Dolly Parton, who is very famous in Australia.
Lots of guitars, fewer club sounds, but fortunately, the beautiful, clear, fresh, and unmistakable voice of a great artist remains.
"Stop me from falling," like the rest of the album, wants to celebrate a woman who, after battling breast cancer, the inability to have children, and depression, had to rise again from love stories with men who were really unfaithful. The last relationship with actor Sasse, who betrayed her, led Kylie to write these specific songs.
Kylie, welcome back, and thank you for this great song, another pop gem in your long career.
