Rating: "Raining Glitter" is the third single preceding Kylie Minogue's highly anticipated new album "Golden" (April 6, 2018).
After the previous two singles "Dancing" and "Stop Me From Falling," which had country sounds, Kylie has chosen a pop dance track that calls back to what she does best: disco music.
"Raining Glitter" is an extremely danceable, springtime song, yet it deals with a very sad theme, like much of the new album—about the end of a love.
During these 2 years in the studio, Kylie Minogue faced a long anti-depressive battle due to the end of her romantic relationship with actor Sasse. The two were supposed to marry, but he ruined everything by admitting he had a lover. Kylie left him and entered a dark period, but as only she knows how, she got back on her feet and is ready to haunt us with this new single.
We are awaiting the video and the release of this "Golden," Kylie's first effort with BMG but her fourteenth studio album.
