It is only November 13, 2015, but for Kylie Minogue, it is already Christmas, and the same goes for all her fans around the world. "Kylie Christmas" is the brand new album (the thirteenth studio album) by the Australian singer, who has decided to return to the music scene (after her less successful "Kiss Me Once" in 2014) with a Christmas album.
The extraordinary thing is that the album features endless important collaborations, in addition to very respectable Christmas covers and brand-new tracks recorded especially for the Christmas album.
Among the featured artists, we have Frank Sinatra in the beautiful "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," while in "Christmas Wrapping," there's Iggy Pop. A very popular dance track is "100 Degrees," very chic and camp, in a duet with her sister Dannii Minogue.
Among other Christmas songs are "Santa Baby," "Let It Snow," and "O Santa," already performed by the splendid Kylie during her almost three-decade career.
Many of her new songs include the brand new lead single "Only You" with James Corden (a very famous recent singer in the UK) and the track "2000 Miles," one of the sweetest and most exciting ballads of the entire project, which turns out to be perfect given the season we are approaching.
An excellent Christmas gift, released in two versions (standard and deluxe), all produced by Parlophone (Kylie Minogue's record label since the year 2000).
In short, if you haven't understood well, "Kylie Christmas" turns out to be one of the most anticipated and sold albums of this Christmas 2015 just around the corner.
Merry Christmas, Kylie, and thank you for this surprise.
