The most beautiful song by Kylie Minogue; when you encounter this piece, you fall in love with Kylie's voice, first of all, and then with her entire discography.
"Confide in Me" was released back in 1994, the old days of the Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, and when Madonna was still singing "Human Nature"; a very vibrant period but too often forgotten. Kylie Minogue was dealing with a change of label, from PWL to Deconstruction; this transition was also a stylistic and musical change. From pop, dance, and danceable songs, she moved on to a more indie sound, almost rock, with more serious, profound, and ambitious lyrics.
"Confide in Me" is from the first album with Deconstruction, "Kylie Minogue", released in 1994.
Madonna has always admitted to being jealous of this piece and considering it a masterpiece.
