Aphrodite, Les Folies Tour is Kylie Minogue's tenth world tour. Indeed, after: On the Go/Disco in Dream Tour 1988, Enjoy Yourself Tour 1989, Rhythm of Love Tour 1990, Let's Get to It Tour 1991, Intimate & Live 1998, On a Night Like This Tour 2001, Fever2002 Tour 2002, Showgirl/Homecoming Tour 2005/2006, Xtour 2008, Kylie embarks on a live show that not even Madonna or Lady Gaga could dream of.
In support of her eleventh studio album Aphrodite, released in 2010, Les Folies Tour sees Kylie embodying Aphrodite, the goddess of love, emerging from shells, winged horses, angels in a show depicting ancient Greece and ancient Greek mythology.
One of the most important new aspects, which makes this tour even more special, are the water games and real fountains spraying water, where Kylie moves and sings as if nothing happened: all very evocative and exciting.
I personally saw the Italian date front row in Milan (March 8, 2011, Filaforum Assago) and I was left speechless.
Regarding the setlist, this live show has it all: from the most important recent songs (Aphrodite, Illusion, Better than Today, Get Outta My Way, Closer, Everything is Beautiful, Looking for an Angel), to the worldwide hits like Spinning Around, On a Night Like This, Can't Get You Out of My Head, In My Arms, The One, I Believe in You, Slow, Wow, All the Lovers. But also 80s/90s hits like Confide in Me, What Do I Have to Do, Better the Devil You Know and many others. The cherry on top, a cover of Annie Lennox's "There Must Be an Angel".
An epic show, spectacular, where Kylie highlights beauty; an unmissable and memorable live by one of the most acclaimed artists of recent years who just can't stop. Great Kylie!
