2007 marked the definitive return to music for Kylie Minogue after overcoming breast cancer in 2005. After fear and battle, strong Kylie found herself having to start anew. "2 Hearts" was the first single from her new project "X," her tenth studio album.

The single, written by French pop producers Kish Mauve, was a radio and sales success; a pop electro song with some glam-rock atmospheres to give it more energy.

Not just the usual club track, but something more sophisticated. A song with a strong foundation.

The image reflects that of Marilyn Monroe but also early Madonna (Material Girl). Kylie is no longer a young girl but a woman who has fought and made it.

Even in the video, she is on fire but you can tell she is no longer twenty: still stunning nonetheless, time passes but she remains splendid, impeccable.

"2 Hearts" reached the top 10 in Italy up to number 2. Yet another success. Unfortunately, the only single from "X" to reach that high.

In the subsequent period, some artists wanted to celebrate Kylie Minogue's return in their own way: Madonna mimicked the single's cover for her 2008 album "Hard Candy" and even Pink sought the image for one of her records.

In short, after a dark period, the pop princess once again manages to amaze and takes home a great success.
