KUKL was an Icelandic experimental/post-punk band active in the early-to-mid 1980s. The group featured Björk as vocalist prior to her work with the Sugarcubes and released the albums The Eye (1984) and Holidays In Europe (The Naughty Nought) (1986).

Reviews describe the band as combining punk and new-wave roots with theatrical, avant-garde and Dadaist elements. Björk's shrill, siren-like vocals and Einar Örn's contributions are noted in contemporary commentary.

Two enthusiastic DeBaser reviews praise KUKL's dark, theatrical, experimental post-punk. Björk's pre-Sugarcubes vocals are repeatedly highlighted. The Eye (1984) is celebrated as visceral and memorable; Holidays In Europe (1986) is described as ambitious, chaotic and fascinating.

For:Fans of experimental/post-punk, collectors of Björk's early work, and listeners of dark Icelandic music.
