Regarding this album by Konstantin Wecker, the German singer-songwriter, I can only appreciate the music, as I don't understand German (a German told me "I don't like it, too political", and I immediately thought he was the Guccini of Germany but, after listening to his songs, I changed my mind, he never mentions Che Guevara and often varies the melody of his singing, when there is any).

Here's the list of songs right away:
1- Genug ist nicht genug (Fur Barbara) (sorry for the lack of umlauts) 2- Stur die Strasse lang 3- Was tat man den Madchen 4- Willy 5- Der alte Kaiser 6- In diesen Nachten 7- Frieden im Land 8- Ausklang

The songs that stand out the most in this list are two: the first and the third. Their main feature is a beautifully expressive singing melody and a richness in instrumental arrangement that ranges from a lovely cello to the xylophone, piano, guitars, and bass.
The other songs are more meditative, quiet, some almost spoken or nearly so, yet they do not lack moments of extreme beauty.
