Since childhood, I have been captivated by the emotions music evokes; this art has always had the power to strike the deepest and most intimate chords of my soul, accompanying my days. Over time, it has gained an importance that is hardly suitable for a mere pastime. It has become a visceral passion that has channeled all my attention through continuous research; and it is precisely research that I speak of while reviewing this beautiful album dated 1992...

It may have happened to you as well (while you were browsing an old record store), to make a heliotropic maneuver attracted by the cover of a CD or a vinyl: this fortuitous case allowed me to discover this fascinating group which, with its offering of rare originality, represents one of the most beautiful and creative surges of 90s Metal/Industrial.

Under the pseudonym of KONG, these charming Dutchmen (aided in production by the great Tom Holkenborg, creator alongside Phil Mills of the immense Nerve) in this full-length present an instrumental Industrial where they mix post-thrash rooted guitars with sidereal and ethereal atmospheres, ambient interludes with polyrhythmic phrasing (the intro of M.O.N is reminiscent of Meshuggah) in a bewildering controlled cacophony that captivates the senses with every listen and transports one into a dreamlike and labyrinthine dimension.

Recommended for anyone who loves music in its most avant-garde and experimental form.
