And after "Dopoguerra," I never would have expected such a masterpiece like this, I swear.

The eighties wave atmospheres in "Just in Case We Never Meet Again" are exaggerated to the extreme, but they make the work tremendously and damnably enjoyable.

How to define the sound of Klimt 1918 in 2008? Ethereal? Impalpable? Perhaps... all I know is that in their music the nuances that can be captured are truly infinite, and the listener's mind is dragged into a whirlpool of melody and notes from which it's impossible to escape.

"Ghost Of A Tape Listener" is worth the album on its own. On its own, it exudes vibrant colors from which human imagination is enchanted. Compositions imbued with melancholy, brightness, adrenaline-fueled vibrations, and that subtle aftertaste for pop and eighties wave so indebted to early U2 to whom, perhaps, today Klimt 1918 could truly teach how to write great music.

There it is: great music, and nothing else. Because "The Graduate" is an excellent rock song (my favorite) so delicate, so ethereal, so melodic... wonderful. Because in every song there's that crescendo of sonic jolts that unsettle the listener but don't disappoint, instead, they urge them to continue the journey undertaken, a journey into the depths of Klimt's music, of "Just in Case We Never Meet Again", where tracks like "Just An Interlude Your Life" with lighthearted atmospheres or, again, "Love Is The Oldest Fear" so melodic and so dramatic, are found.

In front of such a work, even the most rigid mental frameworks cannot help but yield because this is art in the purest sense of the word, and "Just In Case We'll Never Meet Again" proves it in every way, with its experiments between its rock atmospheres.

Enough. I think I’ve said everything, and I don't want to go on too long because I fear I might really write or say nonsense, and from a review, a wordy mishmash could emerge that ultimately only confuses the reader.

My advice is only one: buy the album blindly because Klimt 1918 has come a long way since "Undressed Momento." Because if "Dopoguerra" was a must, "Just in Case We Never Meet Again" is the music. And when I say music, I mean music at 360°, perhaps one of the most beautiful albums that 2008 has given us.

Timeless......
