People talking, sound of cutlery, a voice like a news report talking about Detroit, the car door, the car starting "Rock n Roll All Nite live" in the background, starts "Detroit Rock City" shouted voice frantic rhythm, chorus: "get up, everybody's gonna move their feet, get down everybody's gonna leave their seat" absolutely not idle and not for me, but I like to listen to this music quietly without moving a muscle, the car noise in the background reminds us that this type of music would be ideal for the car radio, but still, who's in the mood to go around... a bit repetitive and the guys are really too high and I told you I'm not moving my feet, ohh the car crashes, changes song..
"king of the night time world" "it's so sad to be home alone or go to school, go to the city at night, I am the king of the night and you are my queen" ok, but these messages are for those who feel like moving their ass, I don't, so I accept the fact that someone is the king of the night and swoons around while I lie back and listen to all this, or this is really hard work. "God Of Thunder" child's voice "ok" a guitar rhythm that feels already heard, "god of thunder and rock and rououol" whatever makes you happy, pamper the kids who laugh and talk ignoring these high guys who drug themselves and then they too make the chorus, nice but those verses give you a sore throat like that..
"Great Expectation" sweet ballad that starts sweet "but you've got great expectations..." nice melody, then it speeds up a bit, all summed up they get a bit annoying with all these great expectations this girl has, but it doesn't last long. "Flaming Youth" starts with a great rhythm trumpet "oh yeah" "my parents are going crazy, and they hate the things I do, I'M STUPID AND LAZY" well those last two words I agree I'm like that too and it might be my favorite on the album "Flaming youth set the world on fire" bom do this solo and let's finish, no it becomes repetitive. "Sweet Pain" starts with a nice guitar intro, "sweet paaaaiaaaiaain" cute and it makes me go up and down with my head pleasantly, the solo is memorable it goes para papapara paara paapapaara paaaparapaa parpaa pa etc. "Shout it Out Loud" well the beginning is famous damn, it's always pleasantly remembered it goes: "tara taaara tarataraaaaaa" which would be "Shout it Shout it Shout it out looouud!", nice call and response between singer and rest of the group then the singer is that other one (one is Gene Simmons right? there's the other one do you know?) all very nice, I won't get tired of this song easily in the next listens I'm more than convinced.
"Beth" nice sweet just enough as I like, sung by the drummer, sound of piano "Beth I hear you calling but I can't come home right now" wow I already remember it.. "oh beth what can I do", so sweet, violins, poetry, piano again, ahh it makes you feel good. "Do You Love Me?" "I don't know what BUT do you love me? do you love me? do you love me?" sure I love you dear my Kiss I love you I love you, you're really likeable with that fake makeup of yours ok? Are you happy? Good for you. "Untitled" noise of audience a chorus, but you can't understand, is it over? is it over? yeah. Quite short this nice CD I like an album ahh less effort. Many things.
The Knights In The Service of Satan are not just stage animals but a group that has something to say.
"Detroit Rock City" is a timeless classic that ends with the crash of the introduction’s car.
