Kip Hanrahan (born 1954 in the Bronx) is an American percussionist, composer and record producer known for blending jazz, Latin and Afro-Caribbean styles and for assembling large collaborative ensembles.

Reviews and public sources note collaborations with artists such as Bill Laswell, Arto Lindsay, Carla Bley, Jack Bruce, Anton Fier, Dave Liebman and Jamaladeen Tacuma. Hanrahan is associated with the American Clave label and a series of fusion-oriented albums beginning in the early 1980s.
