Kino (Кино)

Kino formed in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) in 1981, led by singer-songwriter Viktor Tsoi. The band developed from folk/rock into post-punk/new wave, reached a stable lineup by 1986, and ended after Tsoi's death in 1990.
