DeBaser hosts a detailed, admiring review of King Blank's 1988 album The Real Dirt by Rowland. The review praises Ian Lowery's songwriting and voice, highlights tracks such as "Howl Upside Down," "Blind Box" and the title track, and situates the record in post-punk/garage/new-wave territory. For:Fans of post-punk, garage rock, late-80s indie, and followers of Ian Lowery

If someone - but I presume there are few - were to ask me what I think of the late Ian Lowery, I would respond that I believe he was a freaking legend.
