Killing The Dream was an American hardcore band from Sacramento, active 2002–2011, who released In Place, Apart (2005), Fractures (2008) and Lucky Me (2010) on Deathwish Inc.

Formed in 2002 in Sacramento. Lineup cited in reviews: Elijah Horner (vocals), Chris Chase (bass), Issac Fratini (drums), Joel Adams and Bart Mullis (guitars), with Bart Mullis later replaced by Pat Guild and DJ Rogers. Signed to Deathwish Inc. in December 2004. Releases on Deathwish include the EP I Rewrote It (2005), In Place, Apart (2005), Fractures (2008) and Lucky Me (2010). Jacob Bannon provided artwork; Kurt Ballou produced In Place, Apart. Final separation after a farewell show in July 2011 at 924 Gilman Street, Berkeley.
