A passionate DeBaser review by supersoul celebrates the raw three-track 1976 Mr. Cool EP by Killer Kane Band. The piece frames Arthur "Killer" Kane as a tragic, influential figure from the New York Dolls, recounts his struggles with addiction, later conversion to Mormonism, a 2004 reunion, and his death in 2004. Musically the EP is praised for its dirty, street-level rock that presaged punk.

For:Fans of New York Dolls, glam/punk historians, listeners of raw 1970s rock

But in 1976this EP with just three songs made it clear to the kid called Supersoul that rock is magic.
