THE REVIEW

Have you seen the latest review by HornyBBW aka Korrea (https://www.debaser.it/recensionidb/ID_42302/J_Francis_to_adore.htm)? It's none other than the brother of our D.P. Pearce aka Kigo, the law of K never fails.

If our J is much more linked to dream with a Dark connotation and memory (read Korry's review for heaven's sake), Kigo completely unravels where My Bloody Valentine closed their last work: distorted overpowered guitars and jangle rhythms (now you understand why shadows by j.francis is like that).

Where J.Francis limits himself to merely borrowing from Lush and Chapterhouse, adding something personal, Kigo breaks through the mbv wall incredibly managing to reach the genius of Shields (coming from me, as he is my Saint not to mention Spiritual Guru, furthermore Supreme God and even Kaioshin the Great, this means everything) looking beyond and anticipating the times.

Rarefied male voices that imitate that angel Belinda Butcher, obsessive-compulsive rhythms that travel in jangle but often remind of breakbeat, madchester rhythms to catch a breath, synthesizer that plays peek-a-boo under languid fuzzy guitars that play with the tremolo towards infinity.

I think that's enough to make you understand... https://kigo.bandcamp.com/album/so-lost-now
