Dorham played with Charlie Parker, Max Roach, Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Milt Jackson and Hank Mobley. Quiet Kenny was released in 1959 on Prestige and features Tommy Flanagan (piano), Paul Chambers (double bass) and Art Taylor (drums).
