English keyboardist and composer, founding member of The Nice and Emerson, Lake & Palmer; noted for virtuosic keyboards and film scores.

Keith Noel Emerson (born 2 November 1944, died 11 March 2016) was an English keyboardist, composer and founding member of The Nice and Emerson, Lake & Palmer. He composed film scores (including Inferno) and released solo albums such as Honky, and continued performing into the 2000s.

Four DeBaser reviews praise Emerson's soundtrack work (Inferno) and later band efforts with Marc Bonilla. Critics highlight strong orchestration, virtuosic piano, and memorable live performances of Tarkus. Honky is noted as a lighter, improvisational detour.

For:Fans of progressive rock, soundtrack collectors, keyboard/organ enthusiasts, readers interested in classic rock-era artists.

Renewed in vigor and vehemence and encouraged by Bonilla's fluorescent guitar work (and his powerful voice), the album convinces.

I'm not proclaiming it to be an absolute masterpiece, but I am enthusiastic to give this album a 5 simply for the emotions and atmospheres I experienced and perceived during the listening.

Keith Emerson performed for just over a hundred people crammed into that cubicle known as the Fnac meeting room.

A very pleasant listen, recommended, the work of a great artist, with hints here and there that still echo and propose an unparalleled virtuosity.
