Kataklysm are a Canadian death metal band formed in 1991 in Montreal, known for their high-velocity “Northern Hyperblast” approach. Longtime members include vocalist Maurizio Iacono, guitarist J-F Dagenais, and drummer Max Duhamel. Their album Of Ghosts and Gods won the Juno Award for Heavy Metal Album of the Year (2016).
