Formed in 1993 in Morgantown, West Virginia. Released albums on Roadrunner (the label was involved early in their career). Wild Wonderful Purgatory (1999) is often cited in reviews as a landmark release. Guitarist William 'Will' Mecum was a founding member (died in 2021).
