A soft, gentle voice, which unfolds among the eleven tracks of "Ho Detto A Tua Mamma Che Fumi". This is how Alessandro Camattini, known as Kama, presents himself to the wider public. An album that is visionary, experimental, yet somehow connected to an already begun tradition, with a rhythmic pattern well-defined by the author—a skilled percussionist, producer, composer—now making his solo debut.

In his lyrics, Kama seems to be captivated by the perverse charm of free association: he manages to sing words that diverge from the music, balancing unusual rhythms with well-laid sequences of chords. Listening to him gives the sensation that in each piece he lets himself be guided by an instinct, a mental journey, without truly knowing where his music will take him, dropping syllables, words, on notes gently laid on a precise and squared rhythm.

Percussionist, traveler, or just an ordinary man, a son of Brianza, attached to everyday things that persistently return in his stream of thought. Telephones, risk, highway rest areas... alongside freedom, California, island. And everything is tinged with poetry, modern, hermetic. A journey of images and desires that unfolds in the variety of the album, from the lyricism of "Icaro" to the traditional taste of "Sapore Sapido", up to the cadenced pace of "Ostello Comunale".
Sometimes the words chase each other, without pause, monotonous falling one after the other like the drops of persistent autumn rain in Lombardy, among long stretches of foggy plains, immense inhabited centers that are nothing but the suburbs of the suburbs of some unknown big city.

And perhaps a desire, submerged, a will to violate that overwhelming everyday life, forgetting those days of work and vacation damnably identical to one another. Leaving, escaping, only to understand that one has never really left. Returning with nostalgia to the damp walls of that community hostel, where life flows gently and melancholically. To tell with a song a world lived or merely brushed by the passage of Kama, or as he himself says: "Read in my memories what has passed, what I have really been through. And what remains because it has stayed".
