THE REVIEW

 The Will. The will. The desire to change what surrounds you, screams to tell you that all of us with our daily actions can bring about change. It's pointless to keep wallowing in self-pity, look at that tree, unmoved despite the storms, that tree should be your example and give you courage, that tree vividly painted in the first track of The Will:

 "..That crooked and dwarf pine gives me courage more than stupid words I tell myself every day not to let go..".  

I want to scream, scream to feel alive, accompany Alessandro's voice, at times almost spoken, at times thrown into an unusual and raspy scream.

This is music that has something to say, conscious and angry hardcore starting from the lyrics in Italian, a whirlwind of lucid hostility towards a vision of life dominated by indifference, selfishness, and plastic feelings.

The album opens with the aforementioned “Albero”. I close my eyes, and it seems I see it, in front of me and corroded by a strong wind, the same wind that I feel coursing in my body and that finally makes the desperation in Alessandro's voice my desperation.

“Life flows and leaves imprints, heavy signs, signs of death, not only furrows on the face but more hidden wounds” is the first line of “Non credere”, and I can swear it hurts damnably.

Following the path traced by the Genoese band, you cannot remain indifferent, the cadence and structural refinement of a black pearl like "Una vita all'inferno", the desolate EMOtivity of "Cuore di Cane". All pieces that fit together perfectly and create a atmosphere both powerful and desolate. Hardcore fury without easy solutions.  

I am convinced that this is one of the best Italian releases (in the hardcore scene) in recent years.
