You know that feeling of tranquility you get when, maybe at the beginning of a new year or a job or a course of study, you feel like you're in the right place and especially at the right time? I never have, neither when I was a child getting punished because I sucked at math and the only equation I could solve was "Bionicle=awesome", nor as a teenager with the Bolt Thrower logo scribbled on the soles of my Converse, a sweater with Gort drawn on it, and a North African tire piece in my pocket to smoke after summer remedial courses, nor even today when I have a tie color for every outfit (meaning black, blue, gray, and pink) and Tom Selleck mustaches to make a good impression at internship interviews.

You know that feeling of tranquility you get when, listening to a completely random album, maybe online, you discover it's beautiful? In this case, I do.

An EP made by four guys who, in total, have released two EPs which they've also made available for free download on Bandcamp. Seven tracks for twenty minutes filled with everything.

There's the lo-fi that's not horribly sounding and the sound is nice, there are pop melodies that never turn to mush, there are punk guitars that never get angry, there's a slightly emo clean&sad voice that never becomes whiny but you still have to check if they're from California or Illinois, there's the indie attitude that I don't know what it is but I read about it somewhere.

There are those who say that in the 2010s there are no more great rock bands since Rage Against the Machine disbanded and Slash left those other guys, there are those who say there are great rock bands and they're called Muse and Arcade Fire, there are those who say there are great rock bands but only they know them and in the end, they'll never let you listen, but you suspect they suck and that this guy actually only listens to Cane West and Niccolò Contessa of Kanye. There are those who say "but what do I know if there are great bands out there, I listened to these perfect strangers and they're beautiful".
