A classic trio formation with a musical background completely immersed in the sixties and seventies.
"No Time" is their third album in chronological order; the most focused, the most successful. Better in other words.
English band I discovered by chance a dozen years ago when they played, devastating it properly!!, in a tiny, dark nook a few kilometers from home.
A heavily drugged and hallucinogenic Heavy - Fuzz - Psychedelic sound; Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Kyuss, and especially Monster Magnet (listen to the voice of singer and guitarist Mat Bethancourt) are the impressive benchmarks of an album that kicks off immediately with "Looking at the Mountain" and concludes in the six intense minutes of "I Can't Seem to Find it"; a blistering finale in a constant "unreasoned" ascent where the guitar is im(p)loded to cut through the air with an acidic sound that annihilates you. And it is from this track that I recommend starting the listening experience, to get an accurate picture of the band’s seismic impact.
Paraphrasing the album title, they have no time, they are in a hurry, urgent, and it can be felt in the impetuous flow of the work...TIME TO KILL...
