Jon Spencer is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter, best known as frontman of the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and leader of projects including Heavy Trash. He has been active since the 1980s in various garage/blues/rock projects.

Collaborated with Matt Verta-Ray in the Heavy Trash project; notable earlier associations include Pussy Galore and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.
