This is a truly pleasant CD. A breath of kindness and pleasant thoughts, coming from the hesitant singing of this artist who has dealt with completely different genres in his career.

Classical guitar, voice, and in some pieces even a double voice (that of Caroline McMahon) complete a work that needs nothing else to be enjoyable, to distract, to soothe.
Lately, it has become my soundtrack for rest, the refuge after one of those days that leave a mark, the non-dietary rebalancer. Shannon's whispers travel on a bed of not simple chords and rather complex melodic lines, while still remaining singer-songwriter music and nothing more.

The track titles perfectly align with the feelings it inspires: “Among the Sea, Among the Star”, “Falling Into All”, let's say a global idea of insecurity and volatility, of the unreached or incomplete. The arpeggios create clouds all around, and the voice seems to pass through them without destroying them. Here is the link on MySpace to listen to practically half of the CD, and here is the link to his website for a video and other tracks.

Other words are not needed.
