3 a.m. the dancefloor is packed, a melting-pot from the provinces, someone has drunk too much, someone else even more, the speakers pump out a sound heard before... oh, the Depeche, but no, it’s Personal Jesus, must be the work of the usual DJ, nice though, actually it really rocks, maybe it's the effect of the alcohol... hey she's looking at me... meh

Cyril Thévenard alias John Lord Fonda was born in 1974, debuted in the 90s with the EP "Voltage", his first album is "DEBASER" (does it remind you of something?). An electronic music record, that goes beyond techno, electro-pop, and trance, clever and not at all predictable melodies, saturated and synthetic sounds that recall Depeche Mode, Giorgio Moroder, and obviously Vitalic (“ok cowboy”), since the producer is Pascal Arbez, something also of Daft Punk.

Not your usual record that gathers cut-and-paste samples. There’s more here, it's the new European electronic music, cold sounds that emit heat, acid synths that penetrate the brain, trance rhythms that hypnotize. Top song: "Erase My Anger."

Arms up and move your legs, the night is still long...
