Joe Perrino and The Mellowtones are an Italian rock group formed in Cagliari in 1984, associated with the mid‑eighties garage revival and neo‑psychedelic sounds. Early releases include the single EP 'Love the Colours' (1986) and the album 'Rane'N'Roll' (1988).

Participated in the RAI broadcast 'Sanremo Rock' with the track 'Mi Sento Felice'. A 45 rpm single ('Magical Dangerous Journey' / 'Twilight') was released on For Monsters Records with cover art by Andrea Nurcis, mastered by Peter Doell at AfterMaster Studios, and issued in multiple limited colored vinyl variants.
