Starting with the handshakes, first sir. DOOM, consecrated by the benevolent double feature Maidvillainy/MM...Food that got me hooked, so much so that I gladly followed his various (even bland) releases; for my audible hungry ears, there’s no joking here either; and I have to use the other hand too, sir. Jneiro Jarel, JJ is him, producer of the record and the ideas together with DD, conceived and aged at the beginning of the decade with more than a few doses of experimental intuitions, but if the beats don’t work absolutely badly, it's also true that they don’t loom unusually like in some other past MF DOOM works; but this is perhaps an album that leans more towards the j-side more than a few times; 2012, released after a period of collaborations and the first European whirlwind, but if DOOM hadn’t been prevented from returning to the Americas, I don’t think this discus would have slipped out, and british it was.

No longer a chronological novelty, but it remains an excellent sound description of these times, a collection of molecular tracks, elusive in the form to duration ratio, structured as a collage of sounds and situations, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were fished from a bin of memories; slimy metrics, electronic with distorted bass that ripples in dub, abstract hip hop that shows its facets in Daniel Dumile style, and among the various/mixed samplings, I imagined surreal cartoons, or noir montages in color; a few keys to the kuffs are left on the little page.

Dawg Friendly, is butter flow that melts;

Guv’nor is the critical point in this blend of minds;

Bout the shoes, the best, and you love it;

Winter Blues, evokes melancholy and melody;

And then, interesting featurings, among others.

The one for whom I first stumbled in here seemed to sign a bit lazy compared to other multi-doomic-pseudonyms, and in my experience, it needed to be puffed up with some frequent listens before exploding, but the album has been around for five years and it keeps getting better, the little page was missing, so (?).
