LA RECENSIONE

After 5 years since the last "solo" work and after receiving the Grammy in 2006 with "The Road to Escondido," J.J. Cale continues in the same vein as the work that brought him success in 2006, gifting us with his best album since the masterpieces of the 70s.

The sound is the same as the work with Clapton in 2006, certified by the title track written with Clapton himself. When J.J. Cale expresses himself at these levels, it's impossible not to love him. An album more than good with peaks of excellence. On the web, you can find many "samples" of this work. Listen to the opening track "Who Knew", "Down To Memphis", "Ho Mary", or "Roll On" itself, and you'll get the idea.

As someone said about this album: "Il Rock and Roll è una professione indimenticabile". Enjoy listening. Alex

Listening to JJ Cale is like opening the windows of a country house, after being closed all winter, ready to welcome the sun of a fantastic summer.

JJ still proudly carries his uncompromising Creed; God forbid.
