MAY THE EFFORT BE WITH YOU.
Revival time. Everyone is diving into the - shit - depths of last century's myths, which seem endless, and here at the start of 2016, everything is cheapened to where one thing is as good as another, and all amounts to nothing.
Following various cinematic revivals, from brainless holiday comedies to - shit - Star Wars has also come back into vogue.
The sci-fi saga that started back in 1978, which since then has - shit - spawned a total of 5 sequels and 1 prequel.
In this new episode, all the ingredients are there. Good guys, battles, bad guys - shit - love, adventures, chases, and other trinkets for young halfwits and nostalgic old-timers who are still halfwits.
What can I say, more than two hours of - shit - déjà vu and a barely sufficient level of attention, just enough to not fall asleep in the theater.
I'm good, you're bad, good triumphs over evil - shit - yeah okay... but WHERE'S the IDEA?
WHERE'S the novelty?
What the hell is the point of reiterating the same two things - shit - over and over for years and years... Business? General stupidity?
As a viewer, I feel quite offended as they're treating me like an idiot, no ifs, ands, or buts.
It's all overworked, chewed, and digested multiple times but in the end, it makes you exclaim - shit - a big "WHO CARES?"
PS: Sorry if I've scattered "shit" here and there in the review, but it came to me quite naturally.
