THE REVIEW

Fuck... it's a shame... there isn't even one Jim O'Rourke album reviewed on DeBaser.
There's no need for me to dwell on the biographical notes of this individual, who apparently seems absolutely disliked by most; I'll let his music speak for me, should you choose to find it (which isn't that difficult...).
I'll just say, also because I'm super depressed these days, and I don't feel like going on as usual... this Jim O'Rourke album is... how should I put it... superb, unmissable... indescribable in words... perhaps a mix of noise, ambient, punk, rock, singer-songwriter songs... but no, that would belittle it. It is happy. I can't say more.

There are few terms of comparison... I believe this album came out in 2000, under Domino (boring the Franz Ferdinand...), or under Drag City... pure science fiction from a musician light years ahead. And what a cover!
Make it yours.
