LA RECENSIONE

An eruptive, warm and sparkling sound like the wine from their Piedmontese lands floods our arteries as we listen to the debut album of this group of young and estimable artists.

Traces of true musical culture are glimpsed behind the words and notes of Leo Del Lago, Gisbo, Gando, and IvanB: 90s rock, Italian singer-songwriting, and much more. An Italian indie rock that boldly ventures with cunning and lands in lyrics that are at times simple, and at times rich in philosophical, sociological, and everyday life reflections.

A more than worthy production, dense with guitars that are now nervous, now sweet and calm; sinuous ballads ("E' solo un vecchio male", "Un quanto di vita"), punk-rock solutions ("Selezione") and pop shades ("Asenso" and "Cuore valvolare"). Elegant and well-crafted rhythms (noteworthy is the soft combination of bass and drums in "Sotto Gerusalemme"). A production, as we said, very good, thanks to the expert artistic supervision of Eugenio Merico (YoYO Mundi).

It will surely be, for these four young guys, a "bitter" rise amid the chaos of young musicians on the Italian scene (...which certainly does not support new realities) but with "an end without tears"!
